You CAN draw! (:

This is a slightly optimistic quote I came up with because, like many other artists, I get really frustrated and fed up with my art on many occasions.

I start getting all down on myself and my artwork and I tell myself how shitty and awful it is. I then begin to wonder what value anyone sees in my art and I keep telling myself that I CAN'T draw at all. But in fact, the reality is that I CAN draw... I just sometimes can't draw how I would LIKE to.

I'm sure many artists have felt poorly of their artwork simply because they cannot draw how they would LIKE to be able to. But seriously, you're not a fail for such reasons. And you don't suck at art and your art ISN'T crappy and useless and hideous and etc! YOU can draw, ANYONE can draw! Just don't go hating on your artwork simply because you expect so much more from it.

Besides, we all have to start somewhere with our art, and only in time and with lots of practice will it get any better. So please try not to hate on your artwork, and instead, see the beauty in it. Point out the things you like and make note of what you would like to change. (: With time, patience, determination, and lots of cold hard practice, you CAN draw how you would LIKE to draw! Seriously. But improvement doesn't happen overnight. D: Unfortunately.
